This policy explains how Global Travel Guide sources, reviews, updates and corrects the information published on the site.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
We prioritise official and primary sources. For attraction details, we look for the official venue page, operator notices and local transport information. For destination context, we use public tourism and cultural sources.
Facts that affect trip planning, such as opening hours, ticket rules and transport routes, should be verified again before travel because operators can change them without notice.
Pages are updated when we verify a material change. The “Last updated” date reflects the page’s last content update, not the date it was merely redeployed.
We do not use automatic daily timestamps to imply freshness. If a page has not been reviewed recently, its visible date should reflect the last actual update.
If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the page URL, the current text and the correction. Please include a source where possible. We aim to review correction reports within two business days.
When a correction changes the substance of a page, we update the page and its last-updated date. Minor spelling or formatting changes may not change the date.
We keep editorial judgments separate from commercial relationships. Sponsored content and affiliate links, if used, are disclosed near the relevant content.
We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive factual assessment of an attraction, hotel or destination.
