All-inclusive works well here because the itinerary stays close to the resort, with drinks, meals and some water sports bundled. Compare what is actually included, since premium restaurants, spa treatments and the Isla Mujeres ferry are often extra. Tipping staff is still expected on top.
How do we get to Isla Mujeres and should we rent a golf cart?+
Ferries leave from Cancun's Puerto Juarez and the Zona Hotelera for Isla Mujeres in roughly 20-30 minutes. On the island, golf carts are the easiest way to reach Playa Norte and the southern cliffs; rent one near the ferry dock and carry your licence. Book ferry times around your resort transfers.
