Arrive and base in Disneyland or town, opening with a Victoria Harbour evening. Day two is a full Hong Kong Disneyland day. Day three is a full Ocean Park day. Day four visits the Tsim Sha Tsui Scienc…
Ride the Airport Express for 21 minutes into Kowloon, where the in-town check-in desks handle bags on your way home. Buy child Octopus cards at the station counter; under-threes travel free on trains and ferries.
Give the children room to run after the flight: Kowloon Park has a free walk-through aviary, a large playground and plenty of shade. Enter from Nathan Road; the aviary shuts in the late afternoon, so come before 17:00.
Order baked pork chop rice, macaroni soup and iced milk tea; portions are large enough to share with small children. Most of these cafes take cash or Octopus only, and tables turn fast at dinner.

Both parks sell dated tickets and can hit capacity during the October-December and Easter holiday peaks. Book through each park's official app or website a few weeks ahead, and use the same app to reserve restaurant slots and check ride wait times on the day. Third-party resellers are rarely cheaper and can complicate changes.
Disneyland is easier for small children: compact, gentler rides and a short walk between lands. Ocean Park mixes a cable car, aquarium and animal exhibits with steeper paths and hillside escalators, so plan around the cable car and skip the far upper rides with toddlers. Both are full days, so keep one park per day rather than splitting.
They sit on opposite sides of Hong Kong, so it is a long transfer. From Disneyland take the Disneyland Resort line to Sunny Bay, change to the Tung Chung line and then the Island line for Admiralty, then bus 629 or a taxi to Ocean Park; allow 60-75 minutes. Taxis are simpler with tired children but cost more.
Hong Kong raises typhoon signals in steps, and parks close or suspend outdoor rides when signal 8 or above is hoisted, often with little notice. Keep the official park apps and the Hong Kong Observatory site open in the days before, and hold one flexible day in your plan. If a storm hits, swap in the Science Museum or an indoor mall day.
