Arrive and open at Merlion Park with Gardens by the Bay. Day two pairs Orchard Road with the Singapore Flyer. Day three is a half-day on Sentosa. Day four flies home.
Take the East West line from Changi into the city with a change at Tanah Merah, paying by contactless card at the gates. Store bags at the hotel before heading out, since check-in desks often open mid-afternoon.
The Merlion statue and the bay promenade are busiest around sunset, when tour groups arrive. Come from the Raffles Place MRT exit, take photos first, then walk the waterfront towards the Esplanade as the lights come on.
Walk from the Merlion along the Helix Bridge to the Gardens in about 25 minutes, arriving as the Supertrees light up. The outdoor gardens are free; the two conservatories need a separate timed ticket.

Yes, four days covers the compact city core comfortably. This plan groups Merlion Park with Gardens by the Bay, pairs Orchard Road with the Singapore Flyer, and gives Sentosa a half day. The city is small and the MRT links everything, so little time is lost in transit. Add a day for museums or a full Sentosa day.
The MRT is fast, clean and covers the whole tourist core, including Changi Airport, Marina Bay, Orchard and Sentosa via HarbourFront. Pay with a contactless bank card or an EZ-Link card tapped at the gates. Trains run from early morning to around midnight. Eating, drinking and durian are banned on trains, and fines are enforced.
Singapore enforces strict public rules: no eating or drinking on the MRT, no smoking outside designated areas, no littering, and jaywalking is fined. Chewing gum is not sold locally. Queue for taxis and board trains in order. Fines are real and posted, so read station and park signs before assuming something is allowed.
February to April is usually the driest window, with moderate hotel rates and shorter queues at Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Flyer. July and August are also decent shoulder months. November to January is the wettest period from the northeast monsoon, though rain typically falls as short afternoon showers and sights stay open.
